It’s important to me to support and advise my friends and family in every way I can, especially when it comes to matters of the mind and heart (I’m pretty darn good at it too). As my profile name implies, I am at home leading professional symphony orchestras. I'm passionate about classical music and making beautiful music with my colleagues. I like all kinds of other music too...jazz, big band, R & B, classic rock, international. Perhaps you can help expand my horizons. I love the outdoors - mountain biking, hiking, tennis, scuba diving, camping, adventures of all kinds. I do like watching movies, art, dancing, and a good game of cards once in a while. I really enjoy cooking (for fun but not by necessity). Following recipes is great, but venturing off “free-style” can be fun too, and at the very least, amusing (kind of a metaphor for living life I suppose). For me, variety is indeed the spice of life, and I very much enjoy learning and doing new things.
