Well, been here before and willing to give it another shot. I don't want to give you the same dreary drivel that seems to be in every other profile here. I'd actually like to be as genuine as possible - if possible. I actually hate talking about myself but I guess that's not really an option here, so here goes nothing:

Sad to say, but I've always been somewhat of a workaholic - very much to the detriment of my personal life - but I'm making a conscious effort to try and change that and maybe see what I've been missing out on and hopefully find someone with whom I can build a lasting and meaningful relationship.

So, a little about me. Hmmm... well I enjoy anything active (and competitive) and being outside is definitely better than being cooped up inside - but I am a bit of a gym rat (5-6 times a week). I enjoy keeping fit so as to better enjoy those activities and sports that I play. I have always been an athlete and I always want to be healthy and fit enough to compete well in everything I do.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel pretty extensively both for work and pleasure. I've lived in some beautiful and exciting cities - New York, Athens and obviously Vancouver and visited some incredible places but still have a long list of destinations to discover.

I'm a man with a dream and a plan in place to make that dream become a reality. I love what I do but don't want to do it forever - hence the dream and the plan.

I would say I have a very eclectic set of interests from the movies I like to the music I listen to to the activities I enjoy to the political and philosophical perspectives that I embrace.

Anyway, I don't want to go on too much - I do really hate talking about myself so I'm going to leave it at that. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

p.s. I've heard some horror stories about guys on POF sending out mass email blasts just to get to as many women as possible. I just want to be clear, if I send a message out it is because I've read your profile and something has piqued my interest enough to want to know more. I'm not here to play games nor am I interested in hooking up with as many women as I can - that is not the kind of man I am.

Gotta go off the board here and do something memorable and not just something cliche. That being said, for a first meeting (not really a date) coffee or a drink works - maybe some yoga. That can be worked out though.
