I don't have any real hobbies besides reading, which I don't even do for leisure all the time anymore, because I'm in grad school. I also like cooking,drinking, dancing, and being outside when the weather is nice. My goals are to finish my masters so that I can be a librarian, get a real job again so I have some money to travel, and to meet lots of people and go out.
I like lots of music. Because I'm originally from Detroit, I am partial to Motown and any hip hop artist who samples the sound. My favorite pandora stations right now are: Steely Dan, EPMD, Naughty by Nature and Kings of Leon.
I would like to meet someone to go out with. It really doesn't need to be sexual, or romantic. I don't like "dating" a whole lot because of the assumption that it is supposed to lead to something in particular. Some people seem like they are interviewing you to see what kind of wife you will be on the first date. Which is fine, as long as you're joking...........
It's nice to know if you can hold a regular conversation and get along first. I mostly want friends.

I think I would like to go to a comedy club. There are a few here. Or, maybe one of the events that are always going on downtown. Going to see a live band would be fun, too. I am pretty flexible.
