Overall, I'm a pretty easy-going guy who just isn't into the weekly bar scene. I'm looking for a smart, practical woman who likes to have fun but is thinking about the future.

Aspirations: After getting my MBA from Duke University, I landed a spot in a spot in a leadership development program at Duke Energy. It's a good program and I'll take it as far as I can and then some. In the meantime, I love my job and my co-workers.

Music: I'm a sucker for oldies, but like just about anything but rap and heavy metal.

Athletics: I used to be a heck of a racquetball player and helped coach Duke's team during grad school. After a shoulder injury I decided to take a sabbatical and try some martial arts, which has been on my life's to-do list for a while. I'm also picking up the golf thing, but it's hard to call that athletic. Finally, I'm looking to do some local trail rides and take some horseback riding lessons to round out my riding ability a bit.

Hobbies: I volunteer and do some fund-raising for a local group that provides after-school programs for children. And when I'm not doing any other activities, I like to curl up with a book. I go to the bookstore at least once a month. Last good read was The Good Earth.

Sports: College basketball (Duke) and NFL (Washington), but I'll watching anything except baseball.

First dates should be casual and fun. Art galleries, miniature golf, movies, are all on the table. Brunch and dinner are also high on the list.
