For clarity, I'm NOT seeking an instant relationship or hookup! I think friendship first is important, but due to long distance emails, I have changed my profile to dating only. I want to establish personalities may match and get to know somebody first, hopefully LOCALLY! Selective in finding the right person, not the person just for right now!! I believe the right person will appear at the right time and I'm willing to aid that search but not settle. I'm a Libra with a Cancer rising which makes me very rational yet a very feeling & passionate/compassionate person. I have unique interests in practical astrology , metaphysics ( Law of Attraction / Power of Now ), spirituality & Energy Healing / Energy Psychology. While it would be great to meet someone with similar interests, I REALIZE MOST WILL THINK THIS NEW AGE CRAP! I have a strong personality & am comfortable with who I am. This doesn't mean I'm self absorbed or arrogant, it just means that what you see is what you get. What I share is always genuine, but it's a question of to what depth I share! As a sensitive person, I have developed a defense mechanism of being gaurded so I do take some time to trust and let people get really close to me. Honesty seems to be foreign to most or honest when convenient. I'd rather be straightforward with people than sugarcoat everything. That doesn't mean that I'm insensitive because I am very compassionate and empathetic with others, it's just that I don't lie or say 1/2 truths to make others feel better. It's better to not say anything or word things in a palatable manner to others. My frankness is both a blessing and a curse since people value asking my opinion because I will always be real with you but it also tends to ostricize me since most people don't really want to deal with reality. I also don't go around offering my thoughts or opinions to others, but if you ask me something be prepared for an honest answer.

I am an introvert. I may appear quiet at first because I'm taking it all in! I prefer meaningful connections & not alot of casual acquaintances or friends one barely knows, but I do and can get along anywhere.

In one on one communications, I tend to be an information gatherer because I want to get to know someone. Please don't take offense if I ask you for your Myers-Briggs (Kiersey MBIT or personality test or more of your astrology data, I just want to learn about you and that's a good reliable way for me to grasp your "type". I am an INTJ (please look it up because it does summarize me) and can also be an ISTJ depending on the topic.

I do not think like the general public & my thinking can be quite observant & analytical in comparison. I am unique in the fact that at times I will follow my intuition & not my logic. I have learned to trust it. I will always choose to do the right thing, even if it's the more difficult path & unpopular thing to do. I stand behind my beliefs 100% based on my morals(integrity), but am open minded enough to listen to & respect others opinions or change beliefs w/ new information. Some view this as stubborn, I view it as ethical because I hold myself to a higher standard than most. Just "getting by" isn't good enough for me.

I have a sense of humor but we all know it's hard to judge this! I prefer some depth to the comedy not just physical comedy. Sarcasm is never lost on me! Current comics I enjoy are Jeff Dunham and Jon Stewart. I can look at life & laugh, it's a great coping mechanism!

I am seeking an Honest person who has explored himself from the inside out and CHOOSES to be in a relationship. (Implies communication on all levels!). Someone who has cleared their demons and limiting beliefs from the pains experienced from life or at least stop to do so on occasion! Someone not afraid of exploring their inner psyche. I'm looking for a LIFE PARTNER, but NOT an INSTANT ONE!! Someone who is honest, authentic to himself and to others no matter what the situation and who is nonjudgemental, open minded or tolerant. Best place I've been is Yellowstone National Park and The National Seashore in California North of San Fran. I want to travel with a partner since I have never been out of the country and there's a list of places I'd love to go! Well, by out of the country, I don't count over the border at Niagra Falls Canada!

Please understand that I CHOOSE NOT to have any children. You won't change my mind, so if that's a deal breaker for you, I wish you well on your search! Matches who practice Positive Parenting (Wayne Dyer or Dr Phil style) w/ children already living at home would also be acceptable.

No expectations here since life always seems to provide what one needs & not what we THINK we need. Hope to find someone also who is expectation free!! Life is a journey; The only thing in our control is ourself & our own reactions.
