I'm really just looking for a guy who is fun to be around, knows when to be serious...has to be able to take a joke and dish it out (with taste). I love cuddling on the couch and watching a good movie, or having a really good discussion.
I guess I'm kind of looking for an old fashion type guy. I like the idea of a guy treating me with some respect. I enjoy the role of an old fashion woman.
I respect men who have something to respect. I don't care about looks, or race, or anything superficial. Although there does need to be some attraction. For me, if you have a really awesome personality, looks don't matter at all. You can be the most attractive guy to ever walk the earth, but if you have a horrible personality...I wont even look twice.

For a first date I would probably choose going for coffee, or going for a walk. Something that allows you to talk and get to know each other.
