About me......ok......I am a Licensed Practical Nurse I am a recovering alcoholic/drug addict. I took my last drink on 9/30/89. I do the best I can to practice the principals of AA's 12 steps in all my affairs. I have never been married and have no children. I like to fish, cook, garden, sing karaoke, play bass and guitar and I love Heavy metal music. I go to concerts every time I get the chance. That is my biggest hobby. There is almost always a ticket to an upcoming concert stuck to my cork board. I love to do road trips when I have the time. In my opinion there are few things better than cruizin down an open highway with the windows down and the stereo jammin. I don't believe in organized religion, but I do believe there is a God that loves me very much. I just choose not to put a label on it. I think religion started out as a good idea, but once again, mankind takes a perfectly good thing and screws it up. I am politically liberal and really hope the new administration can put our country on a better course......and no, I don't mind that my taxes might go up. I am very romantic and affectionate. Holding hands, kissing, and olympic freestyle power cuddling are three of my favorite activities in the world. I like to work hard and play hard......and since I don't drink or used drugs I party that much harder. Yea, I'm the old guy doing stage dives at the Slayer concert.....and I'll continue to be that guy till they lock me up or cover me up. I'm the guy that's up every morning at dawn drinking coffee so dark you can't see light thru it. I'm the guy that is friendly to strangers and kind to old people and children but who's personality is so over the top, only the ones brave enough to take a chance realize they've met somebody good and decent. I'm the guy you want watching your back. I'm the guy that will tell you the truth if you ask for it and can be trusted with the deepest of secrets. I'm the guy that loves with his soul and gives of his heart even when he's sure its gonna hurt. I'll always choose love over apathy or indifference until I'm shown that its no longer appropriate. I believe that broken hearts can always mend, but living a life that does not include taking chances is a life that is full of regret. Don't try to change me. I'm fine just the way I am. Your best bet is to either accept me as I am or move on.

Coffee and conversation ......and then go from there if there is chemistry
