*I'm trying to finish up my degree so I can start yet another phase of my life, however I consider myself to be a life long learner.

*I love being outside rain or shine. I like to camp and love the way my clothes stink like bonfire the next day.
*I love tattoos and would consider myself somewhat alternative compared to most traditional mothers. I would also consider myself to be somewhat green in many ways (wink).
*I love most sports and realized this past spring that I like coaching as well.
*Compared to most moms I get down and dirty with my kiddos. I don't mind looking totally ridiculous if it keeps me involved with my kids and puts a smile on their faces.
*I love to laugh and have been labeled a bit of a smart ass. I try not to take life too seriously because what's the point if it's no fun.
*I would call myself spiritual, but not really into organized religion too much. I stopped questioning if there was a higher power after spending a summer at the base town of one of the largest and most beautiful mountains in the world.
*Family and friends are very important to me and I'm extremely loyal when it comes to them. I met my best friend when I was 8 and she's still my best friend to this day. I have 5 brothers and sister and we are very close with eachother and our parents.

I'm somewhat new to Washington and being a homebody with two kids I've found it hard to meet people. I'm not into clubs, but will occasionally go to a bar or pub. The one thing I require at this point in honesty. I think the idea of "friends with benefits" is a joke because without fail when the "benefits" end so does the "friends". I'm listed as dating because I can't remember a time in my life where I actually went on real dates. If you want to know anything else just ask. I'm a bit shy initially, but once I get warmed up I'm a social butterfly. I am nervous about making the first contact, so if you want to talk to me you might need to be the one to take the first step and message me. I prefer people who are educated. No racists, haters, or religious nuts please.

Although there are many scenarios that I'd enjoy for a first date, I also like surprises. I'm simple so it doesn't have to be fancy. Anything that allows for good conversation and helps reduce nervousness. I enjoy coffee, wine, a good microbrew, or just being outside.
