I enjoy the arts, reading, good movies and documentaries (there are wonderful indies and foreign films out there). As a retired sous chef I enjoy cooking (especially classic European). I love animals and nature. I miss gardening.....so relaxing and therapeutic. Have been to Europe many times and would love going again soon....to visit my many relatives there. I love meeting people of other ethnicities and learning about their cultures. A free spirit and opinionated but very open to new and interesting ideas and experiences.....can never learn enough. My music tastes are blues, jazz, old school R&R, doo-wop, country and classical...not necessarily in that order.
I would very much enjoy meeting someone with similar interests that communicates well and prefers a simple, care free life.

Not very creative but I really enjoy eating in a quiet restaurant that has ambiance and maybe a piano bar! Coctails and a good light meal is lovely.
