About me…I’m employed, financially stable, and I’m not in debt. How many people can say that these days?

I’m looking for a woman who is affectionate, has a positive outlook and a sense of humor. I’m patient and understanding, but I do expect maturity. Relationships should be rewarding, not stress-filled.

I’m into classical music and an avid reader. Authors I enjoy include: Arthur C. Clark, Edgar Rice Burroughs, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Yasunari Kawabata, H.P. Lovecraft, and Thomas Paine. Topics I read: American, English, and Japanese literature, Science Fiction, Horror, Westerns, Astronomy, Paleontology, and History.

I love movies. My DVD collection ranges from silent classics like The Lost World and Phantom of the Opera, to recent films like Religulous. Books and movies: I like almost anything so long as there is a good narrative. I’m a writer. I recognize craftsmanship and creativity. So even if our tastes in entertainment don’t sync, I'm sure we'll find a middle ground.

In my off hours from work I write fiction and draw illustrations. I enjoy road trips, long walks, and healthy eating.

Politics: I’m progressive. If you support national healthcare, the Employee Free Choice Act and secure retirement for everyone, I love you already. Kiss! Kiss! I’m a big fan of Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders for their support of the working class and Tammy Baldwin for her support for healthcare for all.
