I grew up in New York, and have lived here for about 3 years. I really don't miss New York at all, and I've become quite the country girl. :) I love going to the gun range, or shooting clay birds. :) My two favorite gun ranges are Knob Creek and Open Range. Bird shooting tends to happen at a friend's farm. Playing kick the can out there is really very fun too. :) I've also become quite the big fan of cornhole, even though I'm still not very good at it... maybe in time... :) I love driving with no destination just to see something new. I love animals, and plan on getting a pet someday soon.
I have a BA in Film and Media Studies, focused more on the Film Studies rather than production. I loved my major very much, but don't have the money to keep going to school. I wound up in my current job by... just a bunch of odd chance events I guess. I like the fact that it gives good benefits, and I like feeling like we try to help people in whatever way we can.
I work down at the jail, and that can be very stressful at times... so I really don't need a lot of drama added on to my personal life. I need someone who is laid back and has a good sense of humor... one that won't clash with my incredibly sarcastic one... I am also a very big fan of pickup trucks, so if you drive one, hey, that's a plus. ;)
As far as music goes, I am very much in to Country, but I really like just about everything except rap... I'm not into rap at all... I've been pulling out my old CD's from the 90s recently, and especially am enjoying listening to Weird Al at the moment. :) It's been a fun trip down memory lane.
I know this might sound bad, but one of my pet peeves is people who can't seem to spell simple words or properly punctuate a sentence. It might have something to do with having been raised by a former English teacher, but it just irritates me. By the time you hit your twenties, you should know how to spell, capitalize, and punctuate. It's not rocket science.

I want to do something different... not your typical dinner and a movie... that gets boring... I'd enjoy a trip to the gun range, or maybe a monster truck show. I went to a monster truck show recently, and absolutely loved it. O:-) Or for people who don't enjoy that sort of thing, maybe bowling?
