This is gonna be random because I am random and I really don't know what to write. Chances are that you're gonna look at my pictures and not even read this, but here goes...

Sooo my name is Amanda and I am 22 years old. I am a true city girl - I love NY!
I enjoy helping other people and especially enjoy working with children. I recently graduated with my BA in Elementary Education. While waiting for a teaching job I am going for my Masters in Special Education, working in retail, and tutoring on the side. I can't wait for the day when I have my own classroom :)
I love spending time with my friends. They are my support system and mean the world to me. My girls are my life.
I am pretty easygoing and like to do just about anything: go to the movies, watch TV, go out to eat, go to a bar, sing karaoke, go shopping, be creative...
I love music. Different kinds - what's popular. Or not popular. Whatever - I like. I also love going to concerts. Lots of fun.
I love scary movies, funny movies, Lifetime movies, and reality TV. I love Halloween and Christmas and everything associated with both holidays. I love the show True Blood and I think vampires are pretty fu.cking cool.
I LOVE my Blackberry. If you have one you understand the obsession, because it is an obsession!
I love to cook and do it often. Being the only vegetarian in my house, I have to make my own food most of the time. I love trying new and interesting foods and experimenting with different recipes.
If I wasn't a teacher, I'd want to be a makeup artist or a chef. I also always wanted to be a bartender after seeing Coyote Ugly many years ago because it looked like they had a lot of fun. All of these jobs have nothing to do with each other, hence how I said I am random :)
I like people who use good grammar (must be the teacher within me). I often find myself correcting the spelling and grammar of things in my head as I read them. I can't help it!
I think I'm pretty down to earth. I'm all about peace, love, and happiness. I'm open-minded and I try to be optimistic. I like to laugh and make other people laugh. I love to cuddle. I procrastinate like there is always tomorrow, but that's because I work best under pressure - it gets done in the end. I'm a morning person and a night person, if that makes any sense. I'm just as content staying in and watching a movie as I am with going out to a bar or club. I go with the flow.

I'm looking to get to know some girls on here and see where it goes. I love being spontaneous and having fun. I'll try almost anything once. You only live once - why waste time?
