Is it possible to avoid being unoriginal in this? Here's a valiant effort.

- I enjoy most anything.
- Being an aunt and a godmother (the regular kind, not the fairy kind) are two of the coolest roles I get to play in life.
- I grew up in Wilmington, went to college in Boone, grad school in Raleigh and have lived several places in between for brief intervals.
- I am just as comfortable going out to dinner as I am playing sports on a Saturday afternoon.
- I love the Boston Red Sox.
- I can dance, sing, hit a golf ball, throw a football, and cook.
- I can have an inappropriate sense of humor at times.
- I am not possessive, jealous-natured, or a drama-queen. I promise.
- Yes, I'm a Christian. Yes, it's important to me. No, I don't sacrifice live chickens...often.
- My all-time favorite movie is "The Godfather". Parts I & II...III was pretty lame.
- Quoting movies is great fun, especially if the other person knows the movie. (Ex: "He's gonna be a soccer player. He is. He i-i-i-is!" Movie?)
- I have no personal baggage that plagues my thoughts or affects my sleep.
- I believe in the necessity of adjusting to the surprises of life.
- I grew up with two big brothers who went over the "rules of dating a normal guy" several times. I'm not kidding.
- I love all kinds of music, but am particularly partial to 80s hair bands. There's not a good reason for it, but I love them.
- There are times when I think my cell phone is the creation of the devil.
- Laughing is essential to get through the day. Laughing at yourself is particularly vital.
- And, I have an overwhelming desire to see the following things, though not necessarily in this order: the Eiffel Tower; Wrigley Field; Niagara Falls; and the World's Largest Ball of Twine.

I think a lot of people take dating too seriously and it becomes more work and less fun. Spontaneity is a great thing...and schedules sometimes have their place. I don't have a "type" and really enjoy getting to know people. I am simply looking for...the one thing I have yet to find.
