I'm a creative creature. I paint some, doodle on the piano, make jewelry, cook up a storm, kick up my heels, wander the hills, travel far and away to meet interesting folks and eat strange foods. I like to try new things, and see beauty in the world. I enjoy creativity in many forms.

This summer I spent a couple of weeks at the beach, where I took a handful of surf lessons! Loved it, and can't wait to do it again. I got a black eye to prove it. There were even dolphins. Ah, the sea. . .

As I was growing up, my dad was in the military. We moved around a bit, and I spent about 9 years in Germany. Living in a foreign culture as a young person opened me in many ways. I find that I connect well with others who’ve lived elsewhere, or at least have an appreciation of “other”.

I laugh easily, play lightly and am easily entertained. I am optimistic without being nauseating. I appreciate clever humor and organic vegetables.

I enjoy spending time with people who are open and bright, who appreciate the value of collaboration, and endeavor to balance speaking and listening. I also appreciate those who are available for open-hearted delight, and try to navigate life’s difficulties with humor and grace. I love it when a man opens a door for me, and if you have a knack for knowing how things work, well then, you’ll get my attention.

My life feels good. I’m happy. I love my work and my wonderful circle of friends. However, I’d love to connect with a compatible man & co-create a world of wonder. In the mean time, I would like to enjoy some explorations, connections and conversations.

First date, hmm, although a bit unoriginal, tea or other beverage in a jaunty establishment, on a sunny day would suffice. I'm sure there are other adventures we could dream up. A yoga, tango, salsa?
