Hi!
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to this area 10 years ago.
My friends say I am very friendly, with a big heart of gold and easy to get along with- very sweet and caring.
After my special someone has had a hard day, I try to make a frown turn into a smile by being helpful around the home.
I dont mind a couple of mixed drinks or beers but I am by no means a heavy drinker and I certainly don't smoke.
I like to listen to a variety of music like alternative, jazz, pop, R&B and christian (Jeremy Camp, Jars of Clay, etc).
Some of my hobbies include painting, writing, sketching, and learning about other cultures. My friends are teaching me Cantonese Chinese and Korean. My home is accented with subtle Asian influences that help me unwind and relax at the end of the day.
Dinner by candle light with that special someone is very nice. I love romantic moments like slow dancing with the lights low or just talking the night away about anything. At times, you may receive roses for no reason or a short poem on your pillow.
I have never been married, but my ultimate wish is to find someone who can complete me as a person. I am hoping to meet someone who is sweet, honest and loving and tries to make me laugh almost as much as I will make her laugh. I am looking for a genuine, fun and caring woman to become friends with and maybe someday fill my world and share all that life has to offer.
I am not picky about looks, or superficial things like that. True beauty lies in the heart. Communication is crucial to learning about one another. I enjoy sharing a good conversation with an interesting person.
I don't have any children, however I have been in relationships where there were 2 or more kids from a previous marriage and they usually love me and I them. Kids need love and care and guidance from those around them. I am often told I will make a great daddy. I have been waiting to have children of my own with the right person.
Family type of feelings can't be rushed on kids it will only confuse them- it just takes time.
In the end it comes down to respect, honesty, loyalty, trust and communcation combined with patience all help build a relationship and take time....
~~Chris
