Hello everyone,

Why is it so hard to write a few sentences about yourself? You want to sound confidant, but not overbearing. Funny, but not a moron. Smart, but not crass.
Maybe I can start with the easy stuff first?

I'm a 32 year old professional guy up in Vaughan. I own my own business and work as a consultant in construction management and engineering. Starting my own company was one of the best decisions I made. It allows a great work/life balance - something that is sorely lacking in the corporate world. I think family should come first and old friends are the best you can have.

I like to get outdoors and I spend one night a week volunteering as a Scout leader in Toronto.

I like live music at a concert or in a bar. If I had the choice between a pretentious club or a bar with a good band and sawdust on the floor, I'll take the rock bar almost everytime. One of my favourite places in Toronto is the Orbit Room on College on a Wednesday night. If you've never been, you're missing out!

For musical tastes, I like everything from Nine Inch Nails to Johnny Cash. I tend to like the harder alt-rock stuff but am open to most things. I tend to get drawn into shows on TV like Law and Order,Dexter, Hell's Kitchen........and I have been known to catch the odd episode of Big Brother. A long time ago I worked as a chef and a great evening can just be some good food and a few movies.

I'm looking for a confidant, independant woman with a sarcastic sense of humour that can share a laugh and share a pint with me.

I'd like to get out and DO something.........play some pool, go see a band, have a drink, relax get to know each other and then a late dinner downtown.
