I've been having TERRIBLE luck lately in the dating scene - might as well see what can happen on here ;)

Things about me: I love to sing and write lyrics/poems. I'm a karaoke-aholic. I moved down to Texas 2 years ago (born and bred Yankee), and Austin a year ago, so still figuring out things to go do. I'm back in school again (one degree just wasn't enough it seems lol), I'm a huge self-proclaimed dork; seem to always be making people laugh. I like my crossword puzzles when it's slow at work, pretending I can still tumble, books (in general, reading and just having them - odd eccentricity, I know) and traveling - though I haven't done nearly enough of it!

Things about whoever else: I hate rude people - there's really no reason for it. I'm the kind of person that gets irritated by people spelling things like "their" versus "there" or "they're" wrong. Don't even get me started on "too" and "to" ;). I love when people can laugh at themselves and can have a good time, but able to tone it down when need be. Someone that likes going out but doesn't feel the need to 5 nights a week - I've kind of outgrown that phase of life...
