Yes, I am hispanic--but also English/German and French/Italian! I grew up in both worlds, and what an adventure it has been! Having been married for twenty years to an army officer, I have traveled and lived in many places. Each and every day, I savor and enjoy friends and family. The arts are my passion . . . playing a stringed instrument, painting, reading, attending concerts, and going to museums. I tend toward the classics, but when I hear George Strait, I melt!!! I'm really a good ole' West Texas gal with a dash of salsa! At the same time, I have great reverence for nature in all it's forms, and believe in protecting the innocent, to include the animals we share our planet with. Interests that move my soul are healing in it's many forms, whether it be thru music therapy, Reiki,Chinese Medicine, aromatherapy, yoga, Tai Chi or meditation, all things I practice as much as possible. Buddhism and Vedanta philosophy are of great interest to me as well. Love Japenese gardens, and that which the eye cannot see. I do have my lighter side (really!) and always enjoy a good margarita, Half-Price Books, and good laughter with an honest man! Above all, keeping it simple! While I enjoy entertaining, I find nothing more satisfying than spending time alone with my man--relaxing or running off into the sunset! The man in my life is a man of integrity, passion, and a man at peace.
