Who am I?

I am the guy that you go to and complain about how all guys are jerks, and you wish you could find a sweet nice guy. All the while thinking "um, here I am, me, pick me" or "what about me, am I just chopped liver?". I'm the one that all your friends say "I wish I could find a guy like him" Mothers love me, fathers respect me. I am a hopeless romantic.

I am an honest guy who was raised to respect women. Yes, I still open doors, say thank you, and ma'am. I can cook, and enjoy doing so. I like Country music, 70's 80's and 90's rock, and even some Contemporary Christian.

I enjoy going out dancing, but hate having to ask women to dance. It amazes me how many act as if I am asking to sleep with them, instead of asking to dance with them. I like staying in, cuddling up on the couch or floor, watching a movie, or just "being" with someone. I'm a "touchy feely type" person. I am goofy, funny, and fun loving.

No, my life does NOT revolve around football, I enjoy Nascar, but still don't revolve around it.

I am looking for someone who is sweet, honest, caring. She should like to cuddle, and snuggle, and hold hands. Not be afraid to make eye contact and look into my eyes. Someone who is willing to put me near the top of her list of priorities, (I don't have to be top, just not on bottom). I want someone who enjoys looking good for her man, dressing up for him occasionally, yet still able to sport jeans, a tshirt and get her hands dirty. Someone who likes adventure, and yet still likes to just hang out at home at times.

I am not looking for someone who is self absorbed, shallow, or rude. I do not want to be with someone who cares more about everyone and everything else than the guy she is with. I am not Mr. Fixit, a mechanic, or a moving company, if that is what you are looking for, I will be happy to direct you to the yellow pages.

First dates can be difficult. It really depends on the person. For me, just spending time getting to know one another, weather it be over a meal, a cup of coffee, mini golf, or a game of pool. Even just sitting in the park chatting.
