I would like to imagine that I am an educated man, but you can never be sure about these things. I went to college and enjoyed it greatly. I am a real active person, who is constantly looking for something interesting to do. I have found many things which I do enjoy, but I have no problems trying new things. I am also unflappably honest, which is both good and bad, because if we try something and I don't like it I will tell you. Surprisingly many people don't like honesty as much as they may claim.

Right now my favorite pub in Sacramento is called De Vere's. I love going there in the evening and getting a beer or two, smoke a pipe and watch people walk by. One can get into the most interesting conversations without ever meaning to there. It is also a nice place to just sit on a quiet afternoon and read. I've been reading a bit of Yeats recently, and if you don't know who he is email me and I'll tell you! :)

Right now I'm currently cursing the job market, while at the same time realizing things are not so bad. I have teaching credential and am preparing to take the LSAT later this year. It may take awhile, but I want to become a lawyer. Many people don't like lawyers, seeing them only on the wrong side of things; some like Johnnie Cochran or some other person like that. But they're also on the other side working to keep everything in working order.

Yes, I do smoke, but it is a pipe and only once every other week or so. It is really aromatic, sort of like a scented candle.

I drive a truck, I like dangerous sports -as a friend once said, "it isn't a real sport unless you can die from massive internal injuries"- luckily that could be almost anything including swing dancing... though that may not be a sport for other reasons, I enjoy watching movies (almost any variety, I am not picky), but I could use some new music, and finally I am a fan of the run on sentence... my students last year hated me for it, but they couldn't do anything about it!

I am a Christian, don't judge me based on that and I won't judge you either. Being a Christian means that I believe that man disobeyed God and this brought sin into the world separating us from our creator. Jesus, who is the Son of God, and is God, and is also a human (****ing trippy isn't it) gave his life to pay the price for our disobedience and allow us to come back to God.

I believe in Love.
I believe in Forgiveness.
I believe that these things are amazing and I want to share them.

I also believe that if you don't believe these things that is perfectly ok. The greatest gift we have as humans is our freedom. The freedom to make our own decisions is a precious thing.

Now if you got through all of that and are still interested then I think you and I should talk.

I would love to drive out and pick you up on our first date. We could drive into town and find a nice little place - I know a few, but am always open for suggestions - and get dinner. A nice conversation and a couple of drinks are nice enough for a first date, but I'm sure between the two of us we can find something else to do. Catch a movie, head off to a pub for some darts and pool, take a walk by the river, I would even be down for something higher pace like laser tag or off-balance mini-golf.
