I'm an outdoorsy girl who loves to dance. I'm looking for someone who enjoys being outside, whether it's just going for a walk or taking a serious day hike around Monterey, Plumas or wherever. And no, you don't have to be a master ballroom dancer, but be willing to learn something fun! ;)

Other things you might want to take into perspective: when I say I drink socially, that means one shot of tequila so that people will stop bugging me to drink; during college I always hung out with the internationals; I tend to gravitate to people who have traveled a good bit or lived in a different country. I appreciate it when someone consistently gets my name right during the first meet. I like to be in control, but I want initiative from others as well. I like to listen, but I also enjoy someone who knows how to get to know a person. Hm, lots of "I" words here...

As for where I am or you are in terms of your career, if you're already established and know where you are going, that's great but not required. I'm starting my second career as a business analyst after several years as a regional magazine editor on the East Coast and Sacramento.

Everything else is gravy, except for children. I like them; they're fun, really -- but I don't want any and I'd rather not help someone raise theirs.

Coffee, salsa/merengue dancing, ice cream, something completely off the wall....
