About me... I love to have fun and have found that it is who you are with that matters more than what you are doing. I stay in shape by lifting weights, running, biking, and snowshoeing. I prefer to go out to funky little places instead of the latest over-hyped hot spot. I like music with energy - i.e. some hard rock, but it must carry a tune, and some softer stuff, if it isn't too schmaltzy. I love to see live bands and have been trying to get to as many local music places as I can. Being a good person is important to me. I totally believe that good things happen to good people eventually, although the timing can disguise this fact pretty well sometimes :) .

I am looking for a girl who is open and honest - that is what builds great relationships. I want to be with someone who is active and stays in shape - yes, looks are important, but not in a make-up and fancy clothes way. I need someone who is intelligent and can think for herself and someone that I respect as a person. In terms of going out, trying and sharing new things is important, but must be balanced with some down time too. Not looking for a type A partner, but perhaps a B+ :) .
