Hi I'm Stephen, thanks for taking time to read my profile

I live to create. Life centralizes around art for me. Music was my first love, and my introduction into the arts. I grew up in Scotland and was blessed with the ability to pick things up, simply from studying closely and listening carefully, this has been my gift and over the years it has allowed me to create multi dimensionally adding new skill sets as I go … musician, drummer, keyboardist, composer, songwriter, solo artist, record producer, designer, furniture maker, chef, fashion designer, interior designer …..bags, clothes, jewelry etc etc … this is how I got the nickname "the renaissance man" I have been lucky to make a living from the things I love to do most.

I consider myself a humanitarian. I try to show respect for all sentient beings, life is a mirror, a magnet, therefore I exercise love and compassion to others. I have been blessed throughout my life with a great family and friends from all walks of life and cultures, I have enjoyed good health and wealth all my life, I've so much to be grateful for, and I wake everyday with an attitude of gratitude.
Very little stirs my state of balance these days, I believe everything is happening just the way its supposed to… I'm finally enjoying the ride. My work is only to stay positive without fear and doubt, smile and not take myself too seriously (We Virgos tend to beat ourselves up a bit until we evolve)

"Nature is key to me" people refer to nature as if we are separate from it …. The Ocean, the Mountains the Desert, the Forests ... feed me and fill me up. Being a part of nature keeps me centered, grounded, "Mother Earth" its our greatest treasure.
I have travelled all over the world, and I still to LOVE to travel, it expands the mind, my favorite destination has become Bali, I have been creating much of my fashion line from there, one day it may be called HOME, I am learning to speak Bahasa now in preparation. The people there "smile" a lot, its infectious, we should do it more often in LA, were supposed to have more to smile about here :)

Working out = life force for me, rollerblading / biking, weights, swimming, Hiking (High Sierras style, frequently) Water ski -ing.
Treating my body like a temple is also key to balance, so no alcohol or drugs of any description, been there, done it, OVER IT, but not a snob about it if it works for you - I LOVE food …cooking & dining out = erotic, almost like sex for me ( I did say almost ) Very much into Chinese medicine and self healing techniques incorporating meditation. Vedic Astrology / Addicted to massage and spas ... and consequently after years of personal research, I myself have become an accomplished masseuse (incorporating Korean,Thai & Balinesian techniques from my travels through Asia )

I also love to garden,(gives you a deeper appreciation for food too when you grow your own) Always been into photography, Graphic design, MOVIES (woody allen, foreign films / sideways.. - movies with a good script and solid actors - not violence and endless explosions …. get the idea? )
TV, I don't do, sorry (maybe sponge bob with my boys on the rare occasion & Discovery channel, "hey Sponge Bob gets kinda deep at times" )
Reading for knowledge, philosophy, phycology, history, arts (& audio books when driving around LA) ...LOVE CAMPING been going more and more each year- plan to get into doing Yoga this year too (several of my good friends are teachers so there is no excuse) been attending more art exhibits / book signings and cultural events of late, much more stimulating than clubs and bars. Those I inadvertently end up in when I'm performing. Dancing when the vibe is right.
Working on a 35ft RV right now which is going to be aptly named "rolling stone" my new vehicle for taking trips on the weekends... it will of course have a mini recording studio and gourmet kitchen on board (after I'm done ripping it apart) It will be nice to write and record songs in the desert looking up at the moon and stars, hopefully with that someone special close to me.

SO…what brings me here, I don't troll bars and clubs, or run up to girls in the street or the bike path, I have too many girlfriends that have shared with me their horror stories about how pushy and tactless guys in LA can be, not trying to fit in that category, I can't blame girls in LA for being unfriendly at times, A smile in LA is often misconstrued as a "come on"

I am looking for my mate, hopefully the heavens will open up and the sky will burst when we meet, maybe bells will sound off, maybe I'll meet here here, maybe we'll meet at the salad bar at wholefoods, we shall have to wait and see, "open" is my other middle name.

Whatever your most comfortable with, tea at the beach, hiking, dinner, maybe all three in that order if its going well, why not make a day out of it? whatever comes natural ... just be the class act I am, and see what transpires from there.
