I'm outgoing but sometimes shy at first. Primarily a homebody, but I like to go out some. I love dogs even though I don't have any now. I'm opinionated and can talk for hours, but like to discuss (and I respect) other points of view. I like dancing but I'm pretty bad at it. I've got a good sense of humor. I like mellow rock when talking, classic rock at parties, and classical music when cooking. Like any good nerd, I read a lot.

It may not be popular around these parts, but you should know that I'm politically liberal. I also happen to be personally conservative. (Ask me and I'll explain that.) I like NPR, MSNBC, and the BBC; I dislike Fox and have become increasingly dissatified with CNN over the years. That's just me...

I prefer nerdy, curvy women who are nice to other people and animals. Sorry, but I'm not interested in anyone who's into astrology, conspiracy theories, or thinks that anyone's bible is literal. I've never gotten along well with anyone who hates dogs. I like talkative women with something interesting to say and I admire strong opinions, even if I disagree with them.

Coffee or lunch, something very casual to say hello and introduce each another with no pressure. So maybe that's not a first date, but rather, a meeting. Anyway, I prefer to start slow.
