This moment, having just finished a novel written by a Toronto lawyer, a fabulous murder-mystery, I am looking for something else to read. Yesterday I went for a walk to watch the sunset, there is a hill nearby that gives a good view. If it was a summer Saturday morning I would go to the local farmers market where everything is handmade or homegrown. I go every week, try to buy and eat as healthy as I can. I am looking for someone to see foreign film with And I want to see the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit before it leaves. Avoiding Toronto during the TIFF is a goal as well.

Laughing, having gentle fun and seeing the lighter side of all things is important. And I am known to indulge in bad puns once in while, but sparingly and shoot for really witty one. So, you can imagine, it is not that often.

I am self employed offering workshops, lectures and speeches for 'helping professionals', which is an audience made up mostly of social workers with some housing and shelter staff, probation and parole, therapists and the like. I love the work the way it is constantly evolving and the freedom it gives me.

My passion is learning, my favourite topic is people.

Though I am not 'religious' at all, people say I am spiritual. This is a hard thing to talk about, a hard thing to nail down in words. But I do strive to live well, listen hard and be open to change, to new ideas. It is important to honour peoples' experience, whatever it is. If that is 'spiritual', ok.

I am 5'10", slim, healthy and getting more fit all the time.

And you? You speak plainly, like to explore and learn things. You eat well and stay fit but are not fanatic about it - you have balance and strength.
