I really enjoy my life. I have an amazing family and some really wonderful friends. I am passionate, kind, generous, smart, loyal, political, intuitive and funny.

A sense of humor, kindness and intelligence are key to me. It is really important to be surrounded by people who take care of themselves, others and the world around them. I am 100% old fashioned. I believe in "courtship" and taking it slow. I know that while there may be instant chemistry there is no such thing as instant intimacy, that only happens with friendship, time, trust and willingness.

I can be a bit sarcastic at times (the New Yorker in me, that's my story*excuse* and I am sticking with it) I love talking to people and hearing their stories. I love to learn and try new things. Variety is the spice of life. I work in the entertainment field and am surrounded by really talented, beautiful and funny people in both my professional and personal life. I am a foodie and used to own a gourmet shop, I enjoy cooking for a lot of people and I love to entertain at home. I am very social and love spending time with the people I love. I also love quiet time, to meditate, read and reflect. I AM. I spend a lot of time in NYC and consider both places home.

My perfect first date would be meeting for early drinks at a wonderful hotel/bar, with a beautiful view of the ocean. It would be great if about 10 minutes in we both knew we wanted to extend the date a little longer and and maybe make it dinner. I love that moment when it just clicks and you think mmmm... yes, this might be good!
