I am a soldier in the ARMY National Guard. I am a Squad Leader who has served a 15 month tour in Iraq. Trust me when I tell you it has changed my life forever. It has made me much more appreciative and grateful for everything I have in my life. I definitely do not take things for granted. I've also owned a hardwood floor business for 6 years now. I am also attending Southern Connecticut State University this coming semester as a psychology major with hopes of guiding soldiers returning from war. If I had to tell you a few that makes me unique, I would honestly have to say my loyalty and honest personality make me who I am. I know these are just words typed on a computer, so the reality is you'll just have to get to know me in person. My word is strong. By that I mean if I tell you something I'm the type of person you can rely on to come through. I am as real as they come. You may not like an answer I give you at first, but you will appreciate it in the long run. I can also be the most loving, caring and cuddly man you've ever met. No question we live in a world of temptation. When you care for a person you must know how to avoid temptation. Relationships are alot of work. But work well worth the investment. There is no need to rush anything, chemistry develops over time. I'm pretty big into music. I listen to pretty much everything. Every song has its place.

First Date :) I would recommend we meet at a restaurant. Something along the lines of a bar & grill. A comfortable low noise relaxing atmosphere. Of course this is our first date so the meal & drinks are on me :) My goal is to make her feel as comfortable as possible so we can chat about anything. After dinner and a few drinks we can either catch a movie or go for a nice walk on the beach. I'd find what she likes to do activity wise and we can adjust from there. I'm pretty much game for anything. The one thing I'm not to big into is clubs. I'd still go if that's what she desired and make the best of it. But overall, not really my deal. I will make eye contact with her & compliment her on whatever she is blessed with. Communication is the key. When the date is over I will walk her back to her car or house, however she arrived and give her a nice warm hug and if the mood is flowing in the right direction I'll give her a gentile kiss on her soft lips. And most definitely tuck her in if I'm invited. In the end I'd recommend a second date and keep in contact, and continue to compliment her qualities.
