I'm looking for a best friend first. She doesn't have to be my clone in interests. I enjoy learning new things and being challenged. I'm looking for someone to share my life with as well as someone to share their life with me.

I enjoy reading. Anything from Sci fi/fantasy to action/adventure and horror. RA Salvatore is one of my favorite authors as well as James Rollins. I enjoy all types of music. What I listen to tends to depend on my mood or my company. I can also play several instruments. I'm pretty out of practice though. I've studied karate for a few years. I've been inactive for a while but I'm now training again as well as helping to teach a great group of kids.

First date... I guess it would depend on the person I'm taking out. For me, a nice long walk in a park followed by dinner. I like to get to know someone before getting really serious.
