I like to read a lot and just relax at home with a dvd box set, some cider (hard), and my dog and cat. I love to cook and can make a mean batch of kalua pork. I am not a culinary master but I enjoy cooking for others. I am allergic to Beef. Yes that is right folks. ALLERGIC to COW! I love steak but alas, can no longer eat it so dining out has become a challenge. SO NOT a Vegetarian so don't even go there.

I have a great life with all the usual ups and downs and am just hunting for someone to go to concerts with and to lend me a hug or an ear when I need it. A partner to share with and to find that equilibirium that most of us find in a relationship.

I like a variety of music but not really into rap, country or metals. I have a huge sarcastic streak and can be pretty glib at times. I do wear my heart on my sleeve and tend to let everyone smack it around like a ping-pong ball. I stand up for myself and what I think is right when it comes down to it at the end of the day. (in other words I can be mouthy) I have really reached most of the goals I have set for myself and am just enjoying life for the first time. I work a lot and have pretty stringent priorities and am serous about my obligations in my life.

Looking for a partner, well mostly someone to cuddle up with on the couch and watch movies with but a partner to share things with as well. The one thing that I would really ask of someone is to be completely honest with me. I have recently met a few people(men) that I really liked and then poof they are gone. No word just dissappeared. It is a pretty big blow to my psyche and takes a while to get over so I am asking that if I am not the one for you just say so, don't just fade into the ether.

It all depends on the day and mood. I haven't ever really been on a real date. Well, one maybe two tops and that was only last year. I would probably choose to meet in a bar but with some friends. Not like chaperones or anything, just someone to watch my back. I can be a little freaked out meeting new people the first time. Someplace that has draft beer or ciders and a quieter area to talk. Probably a place with a dance area or at least people to watch. People watching is such a good conversation piece. Too bad you can't do that at the airport anymore. I really haven't got much of a clue as to how a "date" is supposed to go. Maybe we would meet at the dog park and see how my dog reacts, Who knows. We could all be eaten by Zombies tomorrow so I really don't look too far into the future.
