| | I like to be active and keep busy sharing what you enjoy doing and what I enjoy doing and combining them into what WE enjoy doing together. I don't really have hobbies but love to swim, kayak, dream of going white water rafting someday on the Colorado River, take walks, and do just the usual sort of stuff folks do - go out for breakfast, see a movie, have a frozen yogurt, cook dinner together, share a great wine and hold hands. I like to cook a little and love a lot. I am a physical sort of person and that aspect of a relationship is very important to me and it would be important that you have all your parts in working condition. I hope you don't think this is too bold of me but if we can't talk about that now then we probably never will be able to. I believe in very open communication and insist on honesty and that we be able to laugh at you, laugh at me and everything around us. Humor is vital and keeps us young.
I have recently moved to Woodland Hills and open to any/everything because I know nothing about the area yet. Can you help enlighten me about this beautiful city and what surrounds us?
I am searching for someone with whom I can share life, fun times and just being spontaneous. Most of the time those things that just happen are better than those we plan on for weeks in advance. Beyond that I am very open to your suggestions and interests. I want to be honest with you and tell you, just in case you missed it previously, I am only separated. It is strictly for the health insurance and nothing more. If this is a problem for you I understand and there is no need to read further. I can't do anything to change that right now so if you can hang with that aspect of my life it won't interfere with us at all.
I am originally from the South (Alabama) and have lived away from there for many years. I have, after much work, been able to lose most of my accent. Sometimes, so I'm told, a word or two will slip through but mostly I sound like everyone else. You can tell me what you think when we talk on the phone. Because I was born and raised in the South I am a little different from California women. i still have that southern kindness, softness, non judgmental, non superficial demeanor that I see so often lacking in women. However, you will be the judge of that. At least that is how I see myself. Don't hesitate to tell me if you think I am wrong.
I have had the opportunity to live all over the world and it was one of THE experiences of my life. I can't wait to hear what you have been doing all these years. I think we will have lots to talk about.
I have a son and a daughter. My son is a Social Worker in the D.C. area and my daughter is a teacher in Long Beach. They both received their Master's Degrees and made mama very proud. My son is married and has 2 kids. My daughter is still single and just loving life learning to windsurf and snowboard.
I must confess that I am not a great dancer, however, I absolutely love music of almost every type. Not into rap or hiphop (guess it is a generational thingy)but just about everything else is nice to hear. In another life I used to play the piano but haven't done so in a long time. When it is TV time I like NCSI, Law & Order, CSI Las Vegas, House and Gray's Anatomy, hate reality shows and get my news from Fox.
Politically I would have to say I am just an American. I don't vote party lines because I like things about both parties and dislike things about both. I am really concerned about our beloved country and the direction in which we are heading. Enough about politics for now.
