Hi, my name is Jake! I’m currently in college for my Bachelors in Education. My goal is to be a high school teacher. I love kids and like helping people, so this career seems perfect. I enjoy being competitive with my friends, and would love to find someone that is active and likes to challenge each other. I think I’m pretty unique because I like to be clean, smell good, and dress fashionable, but I’m also a handy man by trade. I like to go shopping, watching chick flicks, dancing with stars, (even though I hardly watch TV, and I usually like the discovery channel ) and I love remodeling houses, doing some landscaping, and working on cars. I care about others and would do anything for anyone who is special in my life.

I love being spontaneous. I like to just think of something to do and go do it. Last week I went out to dinner with a friend then afterwards we walked past a tattoo shop, and my friend got a tattoo and I got my lip re-pierced. So I now have my lip done. I hope that doesn’t bother anyone. I’m also planning on getting a few tattoos here soon. All of them will be coverable with a t-shirt. Trying new restaurants and bars is one of my favorite things to do. I love going to concerts and seeing live music. I like seeing movies that I really like at the midnight showings. Meeting new people is always fun. Frisbee golf is something I love to do with my friends. Bicycling is another hobby I’m really into. I’m pretty competitive with bicycling, and plan on getting sponsored by SKC next summer. I like being active whether it’s running, biking, Frisbee, or the gym. I love going out but sometimes I just want to stay in and make dinner, drink some wine, watch a movie or play some card/board games.

My musical taste is really anything that sounds good. I prefer alternative music. 96.5 the buzz is usually what my radio is tuned to. I like Death Cab, Weezer, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, the Kooks and Taking Back Sunday. I also listen to country music. Dirks Bentley, Toby Keith, Big and Rich, Taylor Swift are few I like. I also love Atmosphere and the Flobots.
Right now I want to get my Bachelors and become a teacher, start doing triathlons, and finish a full Ironman. Eventually I want to find my special someone, have fun, get married, and have kids. I love surprising people and being surprised. I’m very affectionate. Cuddling is one of my favorite things to do. So hopefully I will find someone compatible. :-)
