| | This time of year is my favorite time of year, college football is back! Love the speed of the game, the kids play for fun the don't play for a paycheck. In the words of coach Herman Edwards NY Jets "Hello! You play to win the game!". I am 47, widowed, I live in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area with the 2 youngest of my 4 children a daughter 17 & son 14. Before I get started telling you about me I just wanted to give a shout out of respect to all the single parents out there. The single parents not single by choice, the events in my & my childrens lives these past months have given me such new found respect for all of you out there. No tougher job in the world! God bless each & every one of you & your children also. I would also like to say I am not looking for a mother for my children, they had & mother & have a mother in their hearts. I am currently filling both roles & as tough a job as that is I will handle it with as much grace & diginity that I can, thank you very much. I have a home (along with my mortgage company), 2 cars & 2 cats that have decided they will let me continue to take care of them. I do have a goal of being happy again, that being said I do not need another to make me happy but would like to share my happiness with another, if that makes as much sense to you as it does to me? I am a brutally honest & sincere person & try to be genuinely nice to everyone I meet as best I can. As for the things I enjoy, as I said absolutely love college football, like the pros some too. I am an avid bowler, though no longer a competitive bowler. The game is FUN, & why stress over it if it isn't putting bread on your table. My taste in music varies I like variety my preference country. I myself listen to talk rady it give me a false sense of intelligence! I have a tendencey to be a bit "quirky", what can I say my daddy was a pistol! I guess I am a son of a gun! But after the passing of my wife I try to live each day to it's fullest & love every second they are so precious! Okay no mre preaching I promise! And the Lord said "Let there be light!"....Oh wait didn't I just make a promise?? MY BAD! |

First date??? First date??? I think that should be a mutual decision between the 2 involved but depending on the weather I would like to do something outside, picnic, walk in the park a hike, whatever. If you prefer a casual dinner date would be great or even a quick get together for coffee or a beverage would work. No sense in dragging things out if we do not "click" or there isn't "chemistry". I hope that I haven't made myself sound as weird as I actually am. |
