I am a woman of 65 who doesn't quite understand how she got to be this age, I probably blinked somewhere along the line I guess. At my age my goal in life is to spend it happily, my children are grown and I have my grandchildren, who all are very dear to me, but now is my time. I like eating out and cooking a meal at home accompanied a glass of red. In my spare time I enjoy reading anything that is printed and I enjoy hand craft of all kinds. I love music from the year dot up to about the mid-seventies and then I get a bit more selective. I suppose my grandson's comment sums me up. "Nan you wont get old 'cos you're nuts" in the nicest possible way he assures me!

On an ideal first date I think chatting over coffee or dinner would be great. Finding out what the other is about, finding out what you have in common, finding out what makes you laugh. Obviously the venue would have to have a good atmosphere, not so loud that you couldn't hear yourselves speak but not too quiet so as to be intimidating.
