This is hard! But here it goes.. I have been single for 9 years. I basically put my life on hold to raise my children. But they are getting older now and leaving the house so I am ready to start looking for someone special. Even though I'm getting older..I still do not feel my age. I love music and live entertainment. I love going to concerts & have very eclectic tastes in artists, everything from classic rock to Green Day, Nirvana, all the way to Eath Wind & Fire and Dave Matthews Band. I'm a huge Beatle's fan! I enjoy going to San Francisco to catch a show. I love to travel and explore new places. I love finding an out of the way hole-in-the-wall place with great food. I'm a girl who loves to eat (no dressing on the side for me). I have to say I'm a little different..but good different. My daughters are very into soccer and I love watching them play (girls soccer is rough! sometimes I have to hide my eyes!) but I'm not a crazed "soccer mom". I am looking for someone open-minded, with a great sense of humor & a warm heart. If a man can make me think & laugh at the same time that's a great sign :-).

I know this sounds a bit cheesy but honestly I'm looking to find someone to share life, laughter & love with. My kids have convinced me that this is the 21st century and this is the way to meet people. I don't go to bars or clubs (to me that's a date night) so between work etc. it's hard to meet someone new.

I am so new at this! And I hate to say it but a bit clueless :-). I think for a 1st date casual is best. Maybe meeting for a quick drink (coffee or ??) to see if there is chemistry :-)
