I have a wonderful and happy life, with great friends and a terrific career. I've never been married and, although I'm great with kids, have no children of my own. I have a very deadpan, dry, sarcastic, sophisticated yet sometimes utterly silly sense of humor. If you don’t like to laugh, I’m not your guy.

I have a big heart and am very honest, loving, loyal and supportive. Those are qualities I value in others as well. Oh, and don't let the fact that I'm an accountant give you the wrong impression, I'm very passionate and a great kisser...or so I've been told. I also have great hands and give the best massages!

I’m looking for a woman who is fun, bright, cultured, stable, responsible, down to earth, easygoing, independent and passionate...a companion, friend and lover. I'm not looking for a heavy commitment right off the bat, but I am very open to the possibility of a long term relationship. However, at this time, long term plans do not include either marriage or living together. The ideal is for both of us to maintain our independence and separate identities. It's important that we each have our own physical and emotional space. I don’t want to control you nor do I want to be controlled.

I really enjoy entertaining and cooking for others. People have described the meals I prepare as gourmet meals. I am happy hanging out at home and watching old movies, sports, HGTV and Food Network, but I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places (my last trips were to the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Mexico) and going out on the town...movies, concerts, restaurants.

I lead a healthy lifestyle. I eat right (most of the time), lift weights and walk. I work out early every morning before going to the office, as at the end of the day I just want to chill out! On weekends, you'll find me mowing my lawn and doing yard work and gardening. There’s something very spiritually rewarding about gardening and having your hands in the earth. It’s sometimes backbreaking work, but always satisfying when you see the end result.

I spend a fair amount of time working on or planning improvements to the 1960 mid-century modern house that I bought last year. It's a little gem and continues to be a work in progress. I’ve filled it with vintage and period-appropriate furniture and accessories. My house is free of clutter, very well organized and clean, but not to wacky extremes. My philosophy is to have a small number of great items, not a lot of junk. In other words, quality, not quantity. The same can be said for my approach to relationships.

I’m very much into the arts, having once been an art major. I’m a photographer, specializing in fashion and portraits. My work has been published in national magazines and received awards at national shows. I collect vintage posters and had an article published in the leading movie poster collecting magazine.
