About Me
After 20 years in Florida, I've relocated to the St. Louis area. Yes, I guess that makes me a fish out of water. ;o) While I prefer tropical places, there is much to be said for St. Louis area. I'm as at home in the city as I am in the country or on the beach. Meaning, I can wear shorts and flip flops, overalls or a skirt and heels and comfortable either way. I'm going to try and make this short and sweet.
Me - kind, funny, honest, shy, caring, loves dogs and animals (spiders not included), enjoys sports (baseball, football, hockey, hurling, soccer, rugby, skiing,. all weasels wear orange,...), sometimes has trouble walking and chewing gum, loves going to Ren Faires, great cook, creative, and enjoys a good Irish Pub. There's more, however, I'll let you discover the other things on your own.
You - caring, funny, kind, willing to squish spiders, loves dogs (non-negotiable on this), enjoys sports (Cards fan is a plus), adventurous, spontaneous, and open-minded. OK, that seems odd, however, I've learned it's just important to be open-minded in this world. You never know what life will throw at you.
Maybe that was a tad bit brief. It's been rumored that I have a tendency to be wordy. That can be true, just depends.
I'm looking for someone who wants to be active and not a couch potato. Trust me, there are times when being a couch potato is one of the best things to do. This year I've run my first half-marathon and have plans to run a couple more this year, including one in Vegas in December. If you prefer to not be active, please understand that we won't be a good match.
My hope is to find my compliment, not someone to complete me. We need to be able to be complete on our own.

First Date
For a first date I prefer to go to places where you can talk and get to know each other. Actually, living in the St. Louis area there are plenty of places for a great first date - St. Louis Zoo, Missouri Botanical Gardens, sporting events, great eateries, museums, art fairs, festivals, and even Forest Park.

Fortune smiles on any man who would be able to call her his friend. Even more fortunate if she were to fall in love with him. She has a wonderful personality, contagious laugh, and loves life, especially nature. I’m proud to call her my friend. I love ya Darlin’
