i'm nothing too fancy. i can get along with just about anyone--only a handful of people in my entire life have proven me wrong.

overall, i stay pretty busy with work. i'm from St. Louis, graduated from MU, and found a job in Jeff City. i'm a city girl that keeps getting moved to smaller cities. i guess i'll have to get used to it one of these days...

i don't have a lot of extra time to go out and meet people, especially being a girl by myself... and i'm really just looking for people to enjoy any extra time I have with. i figured why not try the inet? never know...

i'm usually shy--at first, simple, & very laid back. i'm a sweatpants girl! i'm easy going, and am usually along for the ride. i'm not very intimidating. i love sports! i love love love watching the redbirds, and i love the blues! i love trying things... new people, new places, new food, new hobbies... pretty much anything. i'm always open to new ideas. i'm a little too honest, even when i shouldn't be. i may come off as mean from a sarcastic sense of humor that only a certain few people can understand, apparently. i enjoy witty, intelligent conversations. i'm stubborn, and very motivated, when it comes to achieving my goals. i'm career focused and have plans of returning to grad school within the year. i enjoy people that can live outside of the box, and don't stress the small stuff. i love being outdoors. i'm not too interested in the bar scene anymore, though i love bars/pubs for watching games. i love staying in and watching movies, and love a good book now and then. i have an 9 month old puppy that takes up a lot of my time, so dog lovers are a must. i'm a morning person, but hate alarm clocks. i love cafes & reading the paper. i hate confrontation. i tend to put others needs before my own--guess that is why i love social work. i spend way too much money on the small pleasures in life. i love my job, and usually enjoy going to work.

i believe in taking time for yourself. i don't think there are enough people that can actually hold intelligent conversations anymore. i'm annoyed that no one will pick up the phone to call people, and that everything is sent in a text message or e-mail. i love to laugh, & think it is the cure to most problems. i tend to not take life too seriously, as tomorrow remains a mystery. i think each person needs to make their own "happiness." take nothing for granted. i believe most things in life deserve a "thank you" note & that many people today don't find chivalry nearly as important as they should! i also think each person must choose their own battles, & choose them wisely! life's little lessons and curveballs always happen for a reason. i don't claim to be perfect, and i don't hide my flaws. i'm just... me.

Not looking for dates! Ah... ya'll either don't read, or think you can persuade me otherwise. I'm looking to meet new people. I always like to try new things, and will give anything a shot at least once. So, enlighten me. I'm not a fan of movies with those whom I don't know ... there's just something about sitting next to someone you know nothing about in a dark theater that does not strike my interest... :) besides, creativity never killed anyone, right?
