OMG. HATE talking and writing about myself. HATE IT. It's kind of meaningless, totally awkward and completely inadequate -- all at the same time. I fuss with my punctuation like you can't believe -- just to STALL. And don't even get me started about posting my pic on the internet. Anyway here goes...pretty active; I run daily (still dark out!) and bike sometimes to cross-train. I like to read nonfiction when I can keep my eyes open and I'm not helping one of the brats study. (Can't get over that accelerated math. I cannot begin to answer their questions and have totally lost face. Damn, I'm like...DUMB!) I meditate daily. I also like to watch nerdy science shows on pbs & natgeo. Heard a kajillion times that I'm easy to talk to and fun to be around; probably true -- there's no way EVERYONE'S lying. (Is there?) I'm straightforward and not at all shy, and though I'm not exactly Einstein, I do have a decent head on my shoulders (you know, except for the math...) and am drawn to that quality in others. I listen to Sting, Steely Dan, Motown and all classic rock, unless of course the kids are around or in the car. Then even if they're wired to the i-Pod, it's top 40 - which I also happen to like a lot. Never thought I'd sing along to Britney Spears...kinda pains me to admit that.

Something very casual - very sort of "during the day" that involves my very best jeans and some very hot coffee.
