Hello Ladies!

Well, this is my second time around on this site. It's been interesting, to say the least! I've met some wonderful ladies with whom I continue to have a friendship. I've also learned some painful lessons. Experience, though, is never a bad thing, methinks. I picked "shark" as my fish because it must always move forward, or die. That's my philosophy as well.

A little about me: I'm an entrepreneur who currently works in Training & Development for an international financial services company. I'm on the way to owning my own company/franchise. I'm VERY ambitious - that's why I work a lot. If you are looking for a house-husband with no goals or dreams, then I'm not the guy for you. I know where I’m going and I need someone in my life who is not threatened by that. I have a wonderful four-year old daughter whom I cherish above all other things, so kid-haters need not apply. I'm also a home-grown Newf from “da Bay”. (Fellow Newfoundlanders will know what that means...) I'm told that I'm cute, funny, creative, resourceful, and (reasonably) bright. I'm artistic - I illustrated two childrens' books once upon a time that were published professionally. I enjoy conversation, walks, and cuddling on the couch. I'm told I'm a great cuddler, by the way. I'm not much for the club scene - I'm just as happy cuddled up at home watching a movie with someone special. I do like to go out to dinner and catch the odd movie. I’m also developing a love of mini-golf.

The kind of woman who attracts me is sensual, affectionate, funny, and down-to-earth. I’m not into high maintenance, uptight, Barbie doll types who are always worried about how their hair looks. I like soft, curvy women especially, but I’m open-minded. A lot of tattoos and piercings do nothing for me, alas. I’m a touchy-feely person – I love to kiss, hold hands, give massages and hug. I'm very affectionate and I love receiving affection. If that’s not you, then I’m a bad choice. I can’t stand negativity – I’m a glass-is-half-full kind of guy and that’s the kind of people with whom I want to hang out. I’m also looking for someone who wants things out of life: travel, adventure, excitement; these are the things I’m working towards. I love dreamers!

Right now I'm just looking for dating to start - one of the painful lessons I learned is that I don't have time for much else right now. I work 12 hour days at my business as well as instruct financial courses on the side. I also try to spend as much time as I can with my daughter. That doesn't leave a lot time for me, alas. That being said, I don't want to cut myself off entirely from people of the female persuasion. (It's important to keep the lines of communication open!) Eventually, I want a companion I can spend my life with – a life based on mutual love, respect, and shared goals. I believe in a "Soul Mate". I want to feel the kind of deep love that you feel in your toes; its passion threatening to consume you in its Fire. (If you thought that last statement was cheesy, then I’m probably not the guy for you.) If the right lady DID come along, who knows what could happen...

Physically, I’m tall, dark, and (so I’m told) handsome. I’m a large guy, so if you are interested in rock-hard abs and bulging muscles, you won’t find them here. I am in the process of trimming down but don't expect miracles overnight. I don’t drink, but I won’t give you a hard time if you do (as long as it’s not excessive). I won’t tolerate drugs of any kind – that’s a certain deal-breaker.

So, if you are interested in some stimulating conversation and developing a friendship with a great guy, AND you are into big, cuddly, teddy-bear types then look me up. I'm always open to a chat with interesting people. Who knows where it could lead...

I'm a classic dinner-and-a-movie kind of guy, or perhaps, mini-golf. Plus, I'll never turn down a home-cooked meal and a night of cuddlin' on the couch!
