I am going to assume people might actually meet on this site just to get to know someone else. Go out for a game of pool or some other sport (bowling, badminton, volleyball). Even just gabbing over a cup of coffee and avoiding the carple tunnel chatting on-line. Not a fan of texting.

I would be happy to start out as friends. If there is any chemistry, then the relationship will go its course. I like most music and enjoy watching movies, though lately, I haven't watched many. I have two young kids under the ager of 12 that I see part time. Right now I will be living in a condo to spend more time on the kids and myself - wanting to workout and shed some pounds. I really do enjoy kids so if you have some, especially younger ones - that is great. Good to be rowing in the same boat as someone who has young kids. I am real, I do not play games. What you see and hear is what you get. All I ask is the same in return.
If we set up a meeting for coffee and good conversation then I expect that we both show up and if we hit it off, great. If not, we are all adults, we do not have to cry and take our ball and go home.

You just don't get anywhere unless you talk - grab a coffee and go for a walk I say.
Alternatively, shoot bad pool and talk or hurl some bowling balls at inanimate objects and talk (maybe with a beer in hand). Unfortunately I am not a golfer.
I am not into quading or hunting animals.

I think people put way too much emphasis on the first meeting. You meet, you talk, you get to know someone and then you decided if it goes further. Only if both decide to take it further does it go further and neither person should feel bad about meeting someone new.
