Though I've lived in New York City most of my life, I've travelled to most parts of the world and have interests in many lands and many cultures.

Though I've practiced law and taught law at my Ivy-League alma mater, my main remunerative interests are in my business and investments.

The range of my hobbies and avocational interests grows and grows: the arts, the sciences, music (classical, folk, etc.), philosophy, fitness, photography, reading, writing, volunteer work, time with friends . . . and mostly looking to find a great gal like you (I hope).

I'm serious, a straight shooter, and have an exquisitely honed sense of humor. While I see reality for what it is, I can often find possibilities for happiness and fulfillment in difficult situations.

Lots of women on this site seem to be concerned that their boyfriend like dogs. I don't have one -- but, I love dogs and they love me.

Are you still reading? Are you wondering what I'm doing in uniform? There's more to me than I can tell you in this small space. I'm a lieutenant colonel in an artillery unit. I study the Talmud in the original Hebrew and Aramaic. We'll meet and we'll learn more about each other.

Whatever you like. One possibility might be a candle-light dinner at a quiet restaurant, with a strolling violinist playing requests. Other possibilities include a boat ride in Central Park, a leisurely jog around the Central Park reservoir, a visit to the Central Park zoo or the Metropolitan Museum of Art, . . . . Why not a weekend in Jakarta, Rio de Janeiro, or Jerusalem?
