I love the simple pleasures life has to offer, with a little panache on the side. A perfect evening to me usually involves fine dining--out or in, it doesn't matter, although I do love to cook for others and would love to meet someone who enjoys puttering with me in the kitchen. I'm a good cook, and love to try out new gourmet recipes for friends.

I am driven and work a lot, but I know how to relax and have fun, too. A perfect vacation - or even day off - would include a warm beach, but no firm plans except to be surrounded by sun and the sound of the waves.

I'm outgoing and adventurous, but also very introspective and highly value quiet times. I have a great family and treasure spending time with them and my close friends, but look forward to the day when I can share all my life has to offer with someone special. By the way, I'm not so sure we need to have tons of things in common - sometimes this matching business goes to far. I happen to think differences are what make life interesting. I'm college educated, and have a great job I love. Because I have worked hard all my life, I am able to enjoy the fruits of my labor.....so how do I say I enjoy the fines things in life, but at the same time am not materialistic? The simple things in life are what truly bring me the most pleasure, and I seek to be with someone who IS like me in this way..... financially self-sufficient, at the very least.
