Hi! My name is Britten (pronounced like Great Britain). I am fairly new to Vancouver as I just moved here, from Calgary, in the middle of July. Thus far, I love everything about living here. Vancouver is a very beautiful city.

I guess this is the part where I try and come off as this fantastic girl that you can just not live without well...here's the deal...I'm pretty weird. I'm quiet and live approximately ninety percent of my life internally. My favorite things in this whole world are: reading (anything I can get my hands on), writing (I like to express myself in short stories), coffee (caffiene is my world), ballet (I've been dancing since I was five), baton (I've been twirling even longer than I've been dancing), music (I play the flute, and the piano. I also fancy myself a singer), animals (I especially love cats (and crocodiles...I think they are beautiful)). I feel best about myself when I am helping other people and making their life easier for them. I really enjoy my life as simple as it may seem.

I am looking for someone who is smart, intellectual and well read. I'd also like someone more on the philosphical and contemplative side while still being fun and silly. I am a fairly grounded and serious person, so someone who is a little less grounded, and a lot less serious would probably compliment me nicely. Also, I've put in a lot of time with douche bags in the past, and I'm not all that keen to relive any of those experiences, so if you're a douche bag, or have douche bag tendancies, please leave me alone.
