Dear Mr. Fish,

I'm a Northern CA girl, born and raised and love it here, but I've enjoyed visiting some of the southern states in recent years. My Cancer sign holds true - a little tough on the outside, but soft on the inside.

What can I tell you? I'm genuine, witty, like wearing my Converse one day and heels another; fun loving, enjoy music, visiting with friends, traveling near and far and would like to see much more than I have. I enjoy good movies (old and new), cooking shows, red wine, anything to do with summer and learning from those I'm around.

Online dating is not my first choice for meeting someone, but it's tough out there so bring it on! I'm looking for a man with patience, a kind heart, follow-through, integrity, balance, who's open-minded, has a sense of humor, humble nature, doesn't rely on texting to communicate and isn't afraid to date someone their age. You don't have to be 20 something to be fabulous! I'm not a prude, just prefer a little chivalry.

I wouldn't say my life is an open book, but with a little nurturing I'm happy to share most anything. Fortunately, I have very supportive people in my life and am more grateful than ever for what life has to offer. The theme in 2009 was compassion and strength and I'm very much looking forward to what is around the corner.
