I am a guy who loves the outdoors and being in nature. I've been involved with many types of yoga since I was 10, and I've taught as well. I am not the type to get too strung out on so much of the pseudo-spiritualism and concentrate on the yoga and it's many physical bennefits. I've also studied a number of types of martial arts, Gung Fu being my favorite. I do have a deep sense of spiritual identity, though, but it's one I've formed through my own experiences, not one created by what someone else thinks I should believe.

I have a wonderful 10 year old son, of whom I was the primary parent till he was 6.
I am grateful to have a good relationship with my son's whole family, even her folks who live near me, and I think it's the mature way to be a parent. If this info means nothing to you move on.

OK. I'm a registered and licenced respiratory therapist who is looking for work in the feild; I am currently a well educated massage therapist with over 12 years work experience, and no, that doesn't make me a creep.

I'm really looking for someone who is educated and has her own values. I'm healthy and look and feel a lot younger than most people my age, so if you're my age you need to be ALIVE! I'm looking for a woman who feels good about herself physically, has taken care of herself, and wants a man who has grown better with age. I don't currently live with my son, so I'm open for most any kind of relationship, but marginal, or bad parents piss me off.
I'm a nice guy and I'm not a swinger or a casual one night stand kind of dater. I'd like to spend some affectionate (after we get comfortable with each other) nurturing time, and I do know my way around a woman, as when I was young I dated a number of older women and I learned a lot. To be honest, I 'm really not looking for casual sex. I hope to find that unique woman who I can share a deep and growing love with. I believe that sex and love can have many dimentions, and that they should become more exciting and precious as time goes by. I believe that two whole people, with trust and freedom, can weave their lives together in ways that exceed their wildest dreams. Most people settle for less. I am not like most people.


It would be great if we could do some hiking together, bike riding, going to the beach, cooking, kayaking, sailing, or dancing as we get to know each other. I'm into anything that is lighthearted and fun to dance to, (though I'm not very good with dancing like salsa, tango, etc.) I do hope to learn to partner dance though as I think it's incredibly sexy and beautiful.

I'm honest and I'm healthy and fit. If you're into yoga we'll have a better chance of being on the same wavelength. I'm a certified Bikrams yoga teacher and started that when I was 10. I've experienced many diferent types of yoga, but currently go to Black Dog Yoga studio, and I've been liking the discount classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon due to the teacher being great and the fact that I don't have $17 to blow all the time, unless of course I'm taking you out to dinner, and yes, I'll be a gentlman and pay your way, at least for the first date or two.

I have self respect and would never be the type of guy to ask a woman to pay my way unless it's my B-day or something.

I look in my early 30's I promise! I'm actually in better shape now as this pic is a couple years old and I was so busy with work and raising my son that I didn't work out that much then. I'm geneticly lucky to have all my hair (if that's important to you), but it's getting kind of silver and I'm tired of burning my head with hair dyes.

Oh, the Garman thing is not sexual. I am an avid aquarium keeper who councels people on responsible care of their fish and aquatic plant life. I love the Florida Spotted Gar, and that is the reason I call myself "Garman" I just don't want my name floating around cyberspace.

I'll finish this later and add a better photo soon. The reason I'm holding a fishing pole in most of these pis is because my son took them. I really don't fish that much, and unless we're camping and want to eat fish we catch and release.
