I am an older man, but still very young at heart. I only have just a little grey hair... I have no baggage and no ghosts. I am secure and responsible, and have a reputation for being extremely honest. Up to now I have spent my life managing my career (long story), and am now president/owner of a structural engineering firm that employs 7 people. I have complete freedom and continue to build my reputation for superior quality work and service every day.

I have not dated much because, up until December 2007, I could not build a company (7 days a week) and at the same time give a woman the attention she needs. Now my company is stable, and I get to have my life back. I am looking to share it with the woman of my dreams, wherever she might be.

I live in a nice house on the west side of KC in Platte County. I love animals, especially cats. (I have a pure-bred Siberian.) I love to design and build things. I work out in the gym at least two days a week going on 2 years; I have been learning how to box for about 1 year. I enjoy walking or hiking, especially in the mountains or tall-grass prairies, or scuba-diving in area lakes and quarries. Got into fly-fishing about 5 years ago -- it is totally fun. (Want to learn how?) I love intense conversations, especially those when good friends get together. I like all music except rap and some country. I have made movies and I love to write stories. I have been playing electric bass since age 24 and I taught myself how to write music.

I "live and let live". I don't pass judgment and am I quick to forgive. I have faith in people (sometimes gets me into trouble...oh well...) I believe what's past is past and I don't go backwards. I am a good person and I am always trying to make myself better. I look into your eyes when I talk to you. I smile a lot. I have lots of opinions and I always want to hear yours. Friends and family are very important to me. I marvel at God's creation everyday of my life. Isn't it wonderful to be alive!

I would like to meet a woman who is fundamentally happy with herself. She sees good in all things. She feels like nobody owes her anything. She knows what she wants out of life and, like me, is seeking it with actions and passion. If we come together, it is not two halves becoming whole. It can only work if it is two wholes coming together. And when we are together; we are something much greater than two.

I am looking for a woman who is beautiful inside and out -- especially inside. She has a golden heart, literally a beacon of positive energy that everybody wants to be next to. It may sound kind of silly, but when she sits on a park bench, the little animals and birds will come out of hiding and want to be next to her (lol) I am looking for a woman who radiates life. In a word, she's nice. If she's smart, too, and has opinions, that also turns me on.

So you know, I enjoy romancing women. Making you feel special makes me feel special. I will use words, lyrics, poetry, and pictures to try to swoop you off your feet! Isn't that what it is all about?

I am a very giving man and I would enjoy meeting a sweet, giving woman. She need not be a model, but like me, takes care of herself and is always trying to improve herself.

I am looking for my best friend. If it happens, I hope that we might some day evolve into a loving family.
