I've been in Boise for 10 years - do I qualify as a native yet? Enjoy raising my kids here, but I sure miss the ocean! I also miss having the close-knit group of adult friends to hang out with and share a lot of laughs!! How and where do I find you? Saturated in kids' school and sporting events - need some adult play time!

Me? I was raised an Air Force brat, moved around a lot, loved it, enjoyed and miss the military life comaraderie. I'm not a political party person, right or left. While I don't get to often, I enjoy eating out or at someone else's house, as I do not enjoy being in the kitchen! (If you're looking for a good cook, scratch me off your list!) My favorite activity in the whole world is dancing, especially ballroom dancing, and I would love to learn country swing, etc., but that all seems like an extinct pastime - any dinosaurs still out there? Love being in, on or near the water - Oceans (preferably!), lakes, pools. Not much of a camper, as my allergies keep me from enjoying the great outdoors (as do the pesky gnats, flies, mosquitos, rabid critters, cranky bears, etc.)

I used to enjoy skiing, scuba diving (Guam!), traveling, but haven't done any of that in a long time. Would love to get my sea legs back, or get back on the slopes one day... Right now getting a good long walk in or some time on the Gazelle is all I've taken the time to do. I miss having fun!!

Love, love, love music - pretty much anything you can sing and dance to. However, my relatives once described me as a 'cultural wasteland' - I don't really care for going to the symphony, ballet or opera. (If you can't get out there and dance to it, why bother?! My apologies to those you of with cultivated taste!) The best concerts I've ever been to are the Doobie Brothers, Police and Toby Keith (and, dare I say it, Neil Diamond)! Never was much into the harder stuff, just the way-back-when Nazareth, Kiss, Kansas...

I'll have a glass of wine once in a blue moon, but having been married to an alcoholic takes all the fun out of drinking, so I don't enjoy the 'party hearty!' scene at all anymore.

The love of my life is Jesus and His bride, the body of Christ. I live by and for the Word of God, His ways, His Son. My life pretty much stands on Jesus' words in John 10:10; "The thief comes only to steal, to kill, and destroy, but I have come that they might have life, and have it ABUNDANTLY." (I once had 'John 10:10' license plates - someone stole 'em! God bless 'em!!!)
