After a long career, now semi-retired and figuring out what's next. Looking for new friends, and hopefully a long-term relationship. I'm just simple and unassuming. More into watching PBS (learning something) than sports. Documentaries more than reality shows.

I prefer to meet people from the East Valley compared to across town (like Peoria, North Phoenix, etc.). However, all contact (even truly long distance, out of state) is welcome.

Regarding religion. I spent a lot of time studying religion years ago. I identify with Christianity (and, this may seem like a contradiction, but Judaism too). But, am not affiliated with a group. (Maybe I should be.). I'm not dogmatic, and prefer volunteering at a food bank or soup kitchen more than internal church social activities.

I'm more liberal-moderate in my political views. I have a tendency to see things from a variety of angles. This tends to annoy polarized ideologues from both sides.

I like Alternative music (For those unfamiliar: 1990s: Hootie and the Blowfish, Nirvana, Goo Goo Dolls; 2000s: Matchbox 20, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Counting Crows).

I like animals, and love dogs (especially Rottweilers). Unfortunately I'm allergic. Therefore, dogs and cats with the freedom to go in and out are better for me (compared to a 100% indoor cat, for example.).

Coffee? Walking? Listen to music? Debate the meaning of life?
