Online dating? Ok, why not. I am just into having fun and meeting people right now. No big pressure, just good times and lets see what happens. But I suppose beyond all that I am looking for someone/something extraordinary. I have always been pretty lucky in love. Don't know why - I count my blessings. I am single now largely by choice. I would stop everything for someone extraordinary. Unfortunately I have no idea what it requires to be extraordinary. Not a particular body type or race. Not a particular level of education. About me: I really have two careers and my hobbies and pass-times roll into those. I have always had a passion for music so I became a singer/songwriter and recording artist. I have made five or six CDs of various styles from Reggae to pop-punk, to folk. Sometimes this has made me popular, sometimes not, sometimes it's made me a little money - usually not. If anyone will listen I would play and sing my songs for them all night - I'm kind of passionate about it. I am also fascinated with traveling and experiencing other cultures, places, expressions, ways of life. So I did graduate school in international development and now as I finish my last year of a PhD, I get to travel for several months out of the year to Latin America to do research, learn about other peoples' lives, and just enjoy not being in Canada. I spend a lot of time in coffee shops - I must like them I guess. I love going to dinner and patios with drinks. I love women who have energy, humour, and are passionate about, well... anything.
And another thing. My age is listed here as 35 and they won't let me change it. Really I'm 39.

This really depends on the person. But I like to just go to the park and talk, or to a coffee shop. The best is a nice patio with some wine or beer, though, then stumbling happily in the euphoria of good conversation, sexual tension, and a bit too much alcohol, for some sort of dancing adventure or mischief of some kind. Preferably this should all occur on a beach in Nicaragua, or Columbia maybe - or just feel like that.
