Love isn't a list, a qualification sheet or an application to be filled out.....Love is trusting your heart. Love is what we're all meant to have in our lives. Keeping the Faith that one day our pathes will cross and the magic happens. Don't know how many of you guys out there ever watched "Sleepless in Seattle", but Tom Hanks describes the "Magic" he felt while taking his wife's hand helping her out of a car. I hope someday to experience that "Magic."

Michael Buble has a song on his Crazy Love CD....entitled "Haven't Met You Yet" I BELIEVE what his lyrics state: "I Might Have To Wait. I'll Never Give Up. I Guess It's Half Timing. And The Other Half's Luck. Wherever You Are, Whenever It's Right. You'll Come Out of Nowhere And Into My Life."

I like men who are smart and believe in themselves. They like to have conversations about many things in life other than just sport scores. I like old fashioned chivalry and being treated like a lady. I like men with a sense of humor, and have goals in life. I also look at a man's eyes, what they hold....are the secrets to his soul. The man in my life will be my best friend, confidant, partner, and lover.

Summer is my favorite season.....I wish it would last all year. I love lying in the sun, floating in the pool, a day at the beach, watching the sun set, grilling out, early morning fishing, bonfires at night, star gazing and making wishes, a late night swim, mowing the lawn and the smell of fresh mowed grass. I think snow is beautiful only when I view it while sitting in front of a roaring fire reading a good book or watching a movie. Add cuddling with my man to that and life would be great! I find I ask myself quite often, "Why do I live in Michigan in the winter?" I love to travel, especially to warm sunny beaches in the spring time. The Caribbean captured my heart and I consider it my slice of heaven right here on earth. Strolling the white sand beach, sun high in the the billiant blue sky, gentle breeze blowing and the warm surf lapping at my feet, is a great day for me. What would make it perfect is holding hands and sharing it with the one I love. I have been and will always be a hopeless romantic. I enjoy entertaining both family and friends, cooking their favorites and slipping in a new recipe from the Food Network. Which happens to be my favorite channel, pretty much the only channel I watch. I'm not into reality TV shows......give me a break! I prefer the peace and quiet of country living, I'm a country girl at heart. Please don't confuse that with a love for country music, some I find appealing most not. But after girl's camping weekend and listening to B93 it's starting to grow on me. I love listening to the Eagles, Bread, Luther VanDros, Jimmy Buffet, any romantic love song, and the songs/music I grew up with love to dance to and know the words to so I can sing along. A night out in the city lights, dining, dancing and taking in a show is also very appealling to me. Watching a good movie, eating popcorn and cuddling on the couch warms my heart. I'm comfortable in blue jeans and a T-shirt or an evening gown or anything else in between.

I consider myself to be highly energetic, direct, sentimental, quick-witted, positive, independent, compassionate, a great cook (just ask my family and friends), empathetic listener, have a sense of humor, joyous laugh, loyal, honest, caring, loving, affectionate, hopeless romantic, and I have the ability to find the good in people and situations. I like excitement and adventure, and I'm not afraid to let the "little kid" out in me.

"Buy me a rose, call me from work, open a door for me what would it hurt. Show me you love me by the look in your eyes. These are the little things I need the most in my life."

I would love to share my life and love with that special someone who's my best friend.

I believe God/Higher Power meant for us to be coupled, to walk side by side.....Always with honesty and respect, nurturing each other, listening to each other. Growing together, but able to remain individuals, with the freedom to be oneself and knowing you're loved because of it or despite it.

I divorced after a 24 year marriage and ended an engagement after a 4 year relationship......This quote by Javan has touched my heart......"Watching you walk out of my life dosen't make be bitter or cynical about love. It's all about someplace that's comfortable for both of us. Quiet restaurant, a walk in the park, live music and dancing, or one last walk on the beach to say goodbye to summer and watch the autumn sunset. We only get one chance at a first date....let's make it a memorable one. If we should pursue a second date the possibilities are endless!
